Lucerne on the rocks

A byproduct of my quest for a vector based illustrative design of panoramic maps. This is how the Lake Lucerne area might have looked like 16’560 years ago. The illustration is loosely based on a stunning model created by glaciologist Julien Seguinot at ETH Zürich.

Already in 2013 I experimented with glaciers. At that time the focus was on understanding 3d- and Animation-Software and its particle systems.
