Spange Nord - a caricature

The provincial government of Lucerne keeps pushing the construction of a new road and bridge. The plans are straight from the seventies (actually the oldest versions are even older) . My answer: a "mockualization". It's a carricature of the projected bridge in the style of 60ies/70ies architecture visualisations. Adorned with original magazine pages it might seem to be an artifact from that period. Pointing out the origin of those plans may be a valuable contribution to the fierce public debate. (I believe we now have a better understanding of the consequences of seventies style city planning...)

The Looping visualization is used to illustrating a chapter in the 2019 booklet of the "Untergrund" City tours organization. Also the guides show a printed Poster of the Visualization when they arrive at the spot of the projected bridge.
